Provide for yourself self-determinedly – simple, secure, and digital
A last will is far more than a piece of paper. It is your personal assurance that your assets, your values, and your will be respected – no matter what happens.
With maerry, you create your testament digitally, understandably, and legally securely, individually tailored to your life situation.
Why a testament is important
Without a testament, statutory succession applies automatically. This can lead to results that do not correspond to your actual ideas – for example, if unmarried partners come away empty-handed, children are considered differently, or assets unintentionally fall into the wrong hands.
A testament ensures that you determine yourself who receives what – clearly, bindingly, and without conflicts for the bereaved.
How the maerry testament works
You answer simple questions
maerry guides you step by step through all relevant topics – from heirs and legacies to personal wishes.
Your testament is created individually
Based on your information, maerry creates a tailor-made draft that is oriented towards your life and family circumstances.
Legal review and final version
Every testament is reviewed by a lawyer before you receive the final version. This way we ensure that your testament is legally secure and complete.
Notarial or handwritten implementation
You decide whether you want to establish the testament by hand or have it notarized. Upon request, maerry also supports you with the maerry notary service.

Note on effectiveness
A testament is only effective in Germany if it
In the case of the holographic form, the entire text must be written by hand, signed, and provided with place and date.
A printed or digital testament is not effective as long as it has not been established by hand or notarized.
