Maike loves paragraphs and pink – and she combines both so naturally that even judges have to smile briefly.

Her law firm in Mönchengladbach is legendary: completely pink, detailed and the opposite of what one expects from a law firm.

No marketing gag, but attitude. Because law can be beautiful – and strong at the same time.

Before studying law, she trained as a state-certified beautician, then she studied in Cologne and Düsseldorf, completed her legal clerkship between law firm and corporation – and set up her own business immediately afterwards.

Since then, she has run her own law firm with unmistakable style, a lot of courage and a clear line.

Today, Maike is a specialist lawyer for family law, known for her strategic clarity and her courage to tackle the most complex and emotional cases.

And she juggles mom life, court and law firm – confidently, clearly and sometimes with magic.

When she is not writing contracts or saving clients, you can find her between Pilates mat, museum and the streets of Paris or Milan – always looking for the next good idea or the next bag investment.

Maike thinks faster than others can click – too many tabs in her head, but always the right track in view.

Together with Anna, she forms the heart of MAERRY – two women, two colors, one vision: Law can be romantic.

Anna Kiehl

Lawyer, Author & Co-Founder of MAERRY

Anna is the green counterpart to Maike's pink – analytical, confident and still fearless when it comes to breaking new ground.

Already after the second state examination it was clear: being employed is not an option.

She set up her own business directly – with the aim of making family law understandable, human and modern.

She studied in Frankfurt, completed her legal clerkship at the OLG Düsseldorf and specialized in family and inheritance law.

In addition, her heart also beats for tenancy and residential property law – a legal field that many shy away from, but in which she is completely absorbed.

In 2021 her book 'HENKELFRAU. Alles im Griff' was published – a declaration of love to self-determination, money and common sense.

In 2023 she founded MAERRY together with Maike to finally bring family law into the future – digital, emotional and accessible.

Anna is married – of course with a prenup from MAERRY. For her it was clear from the beginning that love and contract are no contradiction, but the best combination ever.

Away from the law firm, she stands on the tennis court several times a week – ambitious, focused and with the same bite as in the courtroom. And when she is not training, she travels to places that hardly anyone finds – from the mountains of Georgia to forgotten islands in the middle of nowhere.

She seeks the real, the unusual, what overwhelms others – and transforms it into inspiration.

She brings structure to chaos, calm to the storm and makes visions possible.
